Terms and Conditions
Deposits
- All prices are quoted in U.S. Dollars and are per person.
- The tariffs are based on current prices and are subject to change without prior notification.
- A 50% deposit of the daily rate of Package fee for plains game is payable to confirm a booking.
- Deposits for dangerous game are 30% of the total safari fee (trophy fee included) to confirm the hunt.
- The balance of the fee is payable on completion of the safari.
- As long as the required deposit has not been received, the booking is not confirmed and can be cancelled without prior notice.
- A receipt of payment indicating the booking dates will immediately be confirmed by fax or e-mail.
- No refunds are allowed for late arrivals or early departures.
- Payments must be made in cash, or via electronic bank transfer.
- Trophy fees are payable on all animals killed or wounded and must be paid prior to departure from hunting camp.
- Day of arrival and departure are counted as 1 hunting day.
- Non hunting observers may be permitted to hunt one or two animals with prior arrangement with Safari hunting Africa.
- Prices are subject to change without prior notice due to possible currency fluctuations.
- All clients and observers are required to sign a Safari hunting Africa indemnity agreement before commencement of the safari.
Cancellations and refunds
In the event of a cancellation prior to 90 days of commencement of the Safari, the deposit will be refunded, less 20%. In the event of cancellation within 60 days of the commencement of the Safari, the deposit is forfeited, or the hunt can be postponed to a later date.
We reserve the right to change conditions, prices and / or terms herin without prior notice due to government levies and legislature, etc.
Changes in program
Safari hunting africa reserves the right to change a program and/or its sequence within reason so as to adapt to weather conditions, other considerations and unforseen circumstances which may arise.
Package Safaris
- Package safaris are discounted, however we do not discount our services. The only compromise is you may share hunting lodges / camps with other package safari hunters you may not have met.
- Our daily rate safaris are not double booked.
- Package safaris are sold on the basis of two hunters, hunting with one Professional hunter.
- All Package Safaris are quoted per hunter per package.
- Other trophies may be hunted whilst on a package safari according to the current Price Guide.
- Package Safari prices include the stipulated trophies.
- All animals killed or wounded and lost must be paid for in full.

- You will be required to sign an indemnity form before the commencement of the safari.
Liability
Any Safari is potentially hazardous and it is essential that all lawful directions and advice of the Professional Hunter be followed. The Hunting Outfitter shall not be liable for any damage, losses and expenses suffered by any client as a result of sickness, quarantine, weather conditions, war, strikes, riots or any other cause outside our control.
The Hunting Outfitter accepts no liability in respect of death, injury, loss or damage to person or property arising out of any act, omission or negligence. The client shall be deemed to have waived, renounced and abandoned any and all right or entitlement which the client may be entitled to under the provisions of the law of the Republic of South Africa for any loss or damage to person or property.
The Hunting outfitter shall not be liable for any loss or expense arising from the loss of property, cancellation or curtailment of the hunting safari however caused, save only to the extent that such loss of baggage, cancellation or curtailment was caused by the Hunting Outfitters negligence. We shall however do our utmost to assist you with anything should you have a problem.
Client Responsibility
Hunters are responsible for species and gender identification unless assisted by the professional Hunter.
Penalties are applicable for species and/or gender shot but not on available list, and the animal is also forfeited.
Clients may not carry any unlawful articles or substances whilst in the South African region. If any hunter or observer offends against the prohibitions set out herein, the Hunting Outfitter will be entitled to immediately exclude from the safari hunting party the offender who will be responsible for his or her own repatriation and all costs thereof. Safari hunting Africa will under no circumstances assist any such offender in any dealings or negotiations with any authority.
Jurisdiction
In all matters where it is or may be necessary to have recourse to the Court, the Courts of the Republic of South Africa shall have sole jurisdiction to the exclusion of the Courts of any other country and the prevailing law of the Republic of South Africa shall prevail.
